The Benefits of Quality Custom Logo Design

cw logodesignWhy is quality custom logo design Important?

A strong and recognizable brand can help a business be more successful, which is why creating an effective, cohesive, and professional brand identity is so important.

Creating a brand identity requires research and attention to detail in order to develop a style that successfully meets the goals of a business and gives off the appropriate message.  Your Brand Identity must convey the overall emotion you want to convey.

Do you want to convey quality? Customer service? Class? Versatility?

Your brand identity is unique to your business and it's important to get it right the first time. Changing your brand identity down the line can cause a lot of confusion and cost you a lot of money if you have invested in marketing materials.  Let's create the perfect logo for you that will stand the test of time!

Why is it important to follow a design process when designing a logo?

To have an effective logo, your logo must accurately reflect the core focus of your business and this can best be done with strategic planning.

Careful planning eliminates wasted time and money. By breaking the logo design into separate parts, the research and brainstorming, the symbol, the font, and the color palette, you are ensured that each element of the logo is what you want and what works best for your company. Following a process ensures that nothing is overlooked and that every aspect gets our full attention.

Your logo is the face of your business

Your brand communicates your company's standards. Having a professional designer to guide you and support your marketing initiatives by ensuring that all marketing is relevant to your brand’s goals is valuable. A designer ensures that content distinguishes a brand from its competitors, and is cohesive. This cohesion is important because it helps establish a strong brand voice that resonates with your audience, which is very essential for building your brand awareness. That awareness and consistency builds trust.

A designer will also know how copyright law pertains to your logo design. The most important tip I learned was that the more original and different the identity is from it's competition, the easier it is to protect, registering a mark gives it the best protection, and proper research beforehand will help the designer avoid being held responsible should there be any litigation. (Designing brand Identity, Pg. 127) I have learned what the different symbols mean and what qualifies you to use them. I was surprised to learn that you can us TM (Trademark) and SM (service mark) without registering the trademark. Only the (R) requires registration for use.
